I have been thinking "I really have to start on the baby's room", every weekend for ....oh about the last 3 months. After several half hearted attempts this weekend I got a coat of primer on the walls....gone is the bright yellow with the zoo animals painted on (those darn zoo animals took 4 coats of primer to cover!), even with just a coat of primer the room looks 100% better. I've disliked this room since I bought the house, so was happy to see them go. This week I'll get my sister to help me get the box spring out to the curb and there will actually be room to move around and get the real paint and border up...yahoooo!!!
Ciera is a bit ticked off at me as she keeps asking if she can help me paint and I say yes later....and then I paint when she is sleeping...it's like magic elves show up to paint and then when she gets up everything is different! I will be doing the same to her room this week. Her baby border is down (also done while she was sleeping... in my room) and her new big bed is coming on Thursday so I have to paint the bottom half of her walls and get her new border up before Thursday.
Two familes who were ahead of me for Karaganda have arrived in Karaganda, I have asked one of the moms to take lots of pictures of the others kids as my second child is there somewhere. My thoughts are with these two familes tomorrow as they head to the babyhouse to meet their children.

Oh, I wish those magic decorating elves could make an appearance at my house. I have 2 finished walls, one wall ready for wallpaper, and 1 wall waiting to begin. ADHD Painters at your service. Our motto: "we'll do bits of everything at once, and maybe we'll finish if ...oh hey that's nice, I wonder what that is..."
We adopted our little girl from Karaganda last spring.
I wish you the best of luck in your travels. You can read our story @ tntc.wordpress.com
